This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and interns working remotely with Richer Reach.
3. Work Hours & Availability
- Standard work hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Eastern time), Monday to Friday, unless otherwise agreed.
- Employees must be available online during core hours: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Eastern time).
- Flexible scheduling is permitted as long as deadlines and team coordination are maintained.
- Overtime must be approved by a manager in advance.
4. Communication & Collaboration
All official communication will occur via:
- Slack / Microsoft Teams (daily communication)
- Email (formal correspondence)
- Project Management Tool (Asana, Trello, or ClickUp) (task tracking)
- Employees must respond to messages within an hour during core hours.
- Weekly team meetings will be held via Zoom/Google Meet.
- Cameras are encouraged for team calls to maintain engagement.
5. Performance & Accountability
- Employees are responsible for tracking their own tasks and progress.
- Deliverables must be completed within deadlines set by managers.
- Performance reviews will be conducted quarterly, based on:
- Quality of work
- Timeliness
- Collaboration and communication
6. Cybersecurity & Data Protection
- Employees must use company-approved accounts, software, and cloud storage for all work.
- Strong passwords and 2FA (two-factor authentication) are mandatory.
- Public Wi-Fi should be avoided; if used, a VPN is required.
- Any suspected security breaches must be reported immediately.
7. Equipment & Expenses
- Employees are expected to have a reliable internet connection and a functional computer.
- The company may provide necessary software licenses and reimburse approved business expenses.
8. Work Culture & Conduct
- Respect, inclusivity, and professionalism are expected in all communications.
- Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior in digital channels will not be tolerated.
- Employees are encouraged to maintain work-life balance and avoid burnout.
- Time off must be requested in advance.
9. Health & Wellbeing
- Employees are encouraged to take short breaks during the day.
- Virtual team-building activities will be organized to foster connection.
- The company promotes a culture of openness—employees can reach out for support when facing challenges.
10. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed quarterly and may be updated as business needs evolve. Employees will be notified of any changes in writing.
